This is a test piece I created before my exhibition in Paris in 2021. It taught me a lot about creating 3D pixels on canvas. If you get the chance to see the back of this painting, you can see how much work went into making it look so crazy. I wanted the corner pixels to bepart of the work, yet look as if they were floating together with the main piece. Metal pieces are built into the wooden frame and canvas to make it look so epic. I never showed or exhibited this piece.
この作品は、2021年のパリでの展覧会の前に制作したテストピースです。キャンバス作品に3Dピクセルを取り入れる方法を、この作品からたくさん学びました。もし絵の裏側を見る機会があれば、この圧巻の見た目を実現するために、どれほどの手間がかかっているかが分かると思います。角のピクセルを作品の一部にしつつ、同時にメインの作品と一緒に浮いているように見せたいと考えました。木枠とキャンバスの中には金属パーツが組み込まれていて、それがこの圧巻の見た目を可能にしています。この作品は、これまで一度も見せたり展示したりしたことがありません。
